The College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, is pleased to announce a call for applications for Clinical Sub-Specialty Fellowship Training Programmes for the August 2026 intake.
Applications are invited for the following programmes:
• Paediatric Haematology and Oncology
• Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine (Neonatology)
These are two-year fellowship programmes aimed at advancing specialized clinical skills in paediatric care.
Eligibility:
Applicants must hold a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health (or equivalent), and possess a valid registration and practicing license.
Available Positions:
• Paediatric Haematology and Oncology – 4 slots
• Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine (Neonatology) – 4 slots
Scholarship Information:
A fully funded scholarship is available for the Paediatric Haematology and Oncology programme. Scholarships for the Neonatology programme are currently available to Ugandan applicants, preferably those working in regional referral hospitals.
