Professor Nelson Sewankambo Grand Silver Medal

Professor Nelson Sewankambo, Principal College of Health Sciences, on May 2nd received the Grand Silver Medal of the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. The Grand Silver Medal is awarded to persons who have made outstanding contributions to the improvement of human health research and education, which is in line the mission of Karolinska Institutet.

Makerere University signs MoU with Karolinska Institute, Sweden

Makerere University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karolinska Institute to strengthen the collaboration between Karolinska and Makerere University College of Health Sciences. The signing ceremony was performed by the Vice Chancellor Makerere University, Professor Venancius Baryamureeba and the Dean of Doctoral Studies and Vice Provost for International affairs Dr. Clara Gumpert, on behalf of the Karolinska Institute.
