Media Skills Training for Researchers at Makerere University will be delivered by SciDev.Net with support from SIDA.

The purpose of the training is to build the skills and confidence of researchers to reach policymakers and the broader public with their research findings through the media. This will increase researchers’ chances of influencing policy. It will support the university’s efforts to increase the translation of research into useful products, policies, and practices for society. This will widen the scope of the published work to audiences outside of academia as well as help participants communicate their research.

Kindly note that there are 120 slots available for Staff and PhD Students of Makerere University: Selection will be based on first come first serve basis.
Deadline for registration: 20th January 2022, 23:59 HRS.
