The African Union (AU) Member States in 2013 crafted an African driven vision, Agenda 2063: the Africa We Want, to define how the African continent should look in the next 50 years based on the pillars of wealth generation, regional integration, and attainment of a peaceful society, all driven by Africans. In 2015, the United Nations Member States unanimously adopted the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development that balances the dimensions of economic, social, and environmental development, underpinned by good governance. The Department of Immunology and Molecular Biology, Makerere University College of Health Sciences, School of Biomedical Sciences is organizing the  1st Eastern and Central Africa Biobanking Symposium will be taking place on the 17th of April 2020 in Davis Lecture Theatre (DLT) Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS).

Call for Applications: Opportunity for Interdisciplinary Community Field Attachment

In order to achieve this goal, there is an opportunity for Inter-Disciplinary Community-Based-Education and Service/Field Attachment Project available for undergraduate students of Makerere University.
