The Academy’s Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) will provide a neutral platform for six(6) experts from different sectors to exchange ideas and experiences on topical issues that foster national development. The theme for this year’s ASC—Uganda Health: Transcending Sectors, Looking to the Future—seeks to interrogate the concept of health beyond healthcare provision and human health systems. This year’s theme aligns with a number of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an emphasis on SDGs 3, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17.
