Call for applications for hands on Grants Proposal Writing Training for Early Career Researchers

The Collaboration for Evidence-based Healthcare and Public Health in Africa (CEBHA+) Project is soliciting for applications for hands on grants proposal writing  training for early career researchers based at  MakCHS (School of Medicine, School of Public Health, School of Biomedical Sciences and School of Health Sciences) or at MakCHS partner institutions: Makerere University John Hopkins Limited (MUHJU), Makerere University College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUUS), Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC), Mulago hospital, Baylor College of Medicine and Children’s Foundation-Uganda, Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI),Uganda Cancer Institute, Makerere Lung Institute, Infectious Disease Research Collaboration (IDRC), the Uganda Initiative for Integrated Management of Non-Communicable Diseases (UINCD) in Uganda. The call is attached for ease of sharing.

The training shall take place from 16th February 2023 to 24th March 2023. 

Eligibility: Post graduate, PhD and Post-Doctoral students; and Early & mid-career researchers. Must be responding to a pre-selected non-clinical trial health research or health related capacity building call for grant proposal application. Applicants  should apply in separate groups.  However,  those who shall apply  as individuals shall be given a chance to join or form groups upon successful admission.
