WHO-HSG-HIFA Collaboration: Empowering Community Health Workers to accelerate progress towards Universal Health Coverage

HIFA (Healthcare Information For All) is collaborating with WHO, Health Systems Global (CHW Thematic Working Group) and other key organisations on a series of three major HIFA thematic discussions on CHWs. We would love to link up with this community of practice also. These discussions will support the dissemination and uptake of the WHO Guideline on health policy and system support to optimize community health worker programmes (CHW Guideline [https://www.who.int/hrh/community/en/]), launched in October 2018. Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) Training Thursday 30th - Friday 31st May 2019

This is to kindly remind you that Makerere University College of Health Sciences within its Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is organizing a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) course  on Thursday 30th - Friday 31st May 2019. This GCP course is a full time two-day face to face training with certification on successful completion, and acknowledged by the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST). A basic understanding of GCP is a pre-requisite as well as current and or past involvement in clinical research and clinical trials in Uganda.
