Ms Winnie Nambatya is a Lecturer of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Health Sciences, Makerere University and maintains a practice and experiential site at Mulago National Referral Hospital. She received her Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa and completed her internship training at Mulago National Referral Hospital. Currently Ms Winnie Nambatya is the technical adviser for the Common Wealth Pharmacist Association Antimicrobial stewardship partnership program in Kampala. She has several years of experience in pharmacy practice and as a clinical faculty member at the College of Health Science- Makerere University. She is a member of the education committee for the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda and has had considerable classroom and experimental teaching experience. She has authored publications, and contributed to policy documents. Ms Winnie Nambatya’s research interest are centered around resistance to antimicrobial medicines.
