Sabrina Bakeera-Kitaka is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Paediatrics and Child Health at Makerere University. She is a Paediatrics Infectious Diseases Specialist as well as an Adolescent Medicine Practitioner. She has championed several healthcare interventions with a specific focus in paediatrics and adolescent health. She leads the training and advocacy efforts for Adolescent Health Care at Makerere University. Her research interests are in Infectious Diseases, Adolescent Medicine and Immunization Science where she has over 30 peer-reviewed publications. She has supervised and mentored both national and international students at graduate and post graduate levels. She offers technical support and has been involved in policy development with the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health in Uganda. Her goal is to see every child and adolescent grow up to achieve their fullest potential.
