Kalidi Rajab holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Pharmacy from Makerere University, Uganda and a Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy from University College of Cork, Ireland. He has nine (9) years’ experience in teaching at the level of lecturer and teaches clinical pharmacy and Medicines and Health supplies management in Department of Pharmacy, Makerere University. He is a Lecturer and coordinator of teaching in the Department of Pharmacy, Makerere University. Rajab is an active member of Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda (PSU) and serves in the examination committee. Rajab is also vice chair of Makerere University School of Health Sciences, Research and Ethics committee and a member of Quality Assurance and Gender Mainstreaming Committee. Rajab has broad research interests including research in both communicable and non-communicable diseases, health systems, health supply chain management and environmental health. He has over 15 research publications in these areas. He has also won a number of research grants both as a PI and Co-PI. Rajab has supervised over 20 graduate students to completion. He has also conducted external examinations for Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Kampala International University. Rajab actively participates in the activities of the East African Community Regional Centre of Excellence for Vaccines, Immunizations and Health Supply Chain Management (EAC RCE-VIHSCM) hosted in the University of Rwanda since the time of its inception. Over the years, Rajab has provided technical assistance to many institutions and non-governmental organizations. Notably, he participated in the nationwide training of medicine management supervisors, a program of Management Sciences for Health (MSH), national quantification training for east and southern African countries organized by UNFPA, developing e-Learning materials for Medical Access Uganda Limited and technical support to National Drug Authority Research Unit.
