PhD Project Title: Sustained remission, predictors of outcomes, health-related quality of life, and HIV comorbidity among patients with rheumatoid arthritis in Uganda

Bio: Edward Mpoza is an Internal Medicine Physician, and Assistant Lecturer with the Department of Medicine, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University. Edward obtained his Masters of Internal Medicine degree from Makerere University in 2016. He is currently a PhD Fellow with Makerere University, looking at “cytokine profiles, Treatment responses, predictors of outcomes and HIV co-morbidity among patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis in Uganda”. His interests are in HIV and Rheumatic Diseases specifically RA and HIV interactions. He is undergoing training in Rheumatology.
