The Africa Centre, MakCHS together with the Campbell Collaboration are collaborating to create a systematic Evidence and Gap Map (EGM) on youth employment interventions in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). This will build on existing work done by Mastercard Foundation and help in finalizing and publishing the Foundation’s EGM and accompanying narrative analyses.
The core activities will include: Developing a framework for analysing evidence on youth employment outcomes and interventions, conducting systematic searches of scientific and grey literature on youth employment interventions and outcomes, coding for sex and age disaggregation and using a gender and/or equity lens, Developing appealing user-friendly web-based search content visualizations using the Organization’s interactive mapping software and disseminate the Youth Employment EGM through presentations in relevant networks/venues and derivative products to contribute to the evidence architecture.
