The Dean, Dr. William Bazeyo and the Head of Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health, were recently at University Georgia, Atlanta, attending the University's Third Annual Global Health Symposium, titled "Health and Disease in East Africa: Research and Partnerships". The two-day symposium examined the East African regions ongoing public health challenges with a particular interest in building and expanding partnerships for research and training in Africa and the United States. The Dean delivered a Keynote address at the two day Symposium.
