Call for Applications: FACULTY RESEARCH SUPPORT

The Makerere University College of Health Sciences & Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), Research Training and mentorship to strengthen brain health program is a five-year project, funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and the Fogarty International Center (FIC).

 

The Project is soliciting for applications from faculty and staff at Makerere University and UMU. The training will focus on Brain Health and related research. Priority will be given to faculty with limited research skills with a goal of addressing barriers to research productivity at college.

 

The training is for a period of up to 2 years but is not intended to lead to a degree award. However, PhD candidates who are not funded for an aspect of their research may qualify for support.

 

The deadline for Submission of applications is 30. May.2023
