The World Health Assembly (WHA) in its 67th meeting, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended evidence based decision-making among national policy makers and other stakeholders.
We, at Makerere University College of health sciences are scaling up efforts to build capacity of researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders in evidence informed health policy making using Rapid Response Services. The Rapid Response Service aims at making synthesized research evidence easily accessible to policy makers in a short period.
The workshop is organized by the UsEvidence project, and is aimed at equiping team leads and potential leads of Knowledge Translation Platforms (KTPs) with skills, knowledge to understand, implement and manage Rapid response services.
