We take this opportunity to heartily congratulate 2 of the College of Health Sciences staff upon winning the RAN RIC4CONF Grant Award http://grants.ranlab.org/index.php?r=site/ran&p=ric4conf. Prof. Isaac Okullo, Deputy Principal at the College of Health Sciences is leading one of the teams innovating to enhance the Remedial Potential of Common Herbs for Commercial Production ($34,840). Ms. Florence Tushemerirwe, an Assistant Lecturer at the School of Public Health is the other team leader of Innovators working on an integrated Model to Prevent Malnutrition Among Mothers and Children 0-2 Years ($34,545). These 2 Innovators also copied in here, are among 6 others benefiting from the same Grant.
The award appropriately reflects the endless hours you have all spent identifying and developing these innovative approaches and technologies. The RAN Team is open to closely working with all innovators to launch these solutions and more as 'Game Changers' in the African Market and beyond.
