The Office of the Principal, Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MAKCHS) with support from the Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) is organizing a 4 - day Grant Proposal Writing Workshop for junior to mid-level faculty and Research Fellows in the Schools of Medicine, Biomedical Sciences and Health Sciences. (Senior faculty from these schools are also welcome to attend).
The workshop will be conducted in the MakCHS Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Clinical Research Building from February 1-4, 2016 and will be facilitated by Professor, David Serwadda, Assoc. Prof. Fred Wabwire - Mangen, and Assoc. Prof. Rhoda Wanyenze.
The Principal MakCHS therefore invites interested faculty to register with or send an email to email@example.com. Faculty in the process of writing grant proposals or those that have previously written grant proposals will be given due consideration. You are highly encouraged to come with an idea for a grant you would wish to write.
There are limited slots (25) available. Female faculty are particularly encouraged to apply. Limited slots are also available for Departmental Administrators who support faculty in grant proposal submissions.
