MUJHU RESEARCH COLLABORATION ÔÇô MUJHU CARE Limited is currently seeking interested and highly motivated persons to apply for the following positions:

 

  Regulatory Affairs Officer ├ö├ç├┤ 2 Positions

 

Description of purpose:

The successful persons will provide assistance to the Regulatory Affairs Coordinator and liaise with investigators and other research staff to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for research conducted at MUJHU including timely submission and documentation of all required study materials and related staff training. 

 

Required qualifications and profile:

A registered health professional (e.g. nurse, midwife, clinical officer or related qualification) with at least 3 years experience working in a busy research hospital/clinic setting, experience working with a medical research project and computer literate with demonstrated competence using Word, Outlook and Excel. 

 

The holder of this position will work under the supervision of the MU-JHU Regulatory Affairs Coordinator and will be responsible for the following duties:

Ôö¼├Ç         Review and identify areas of non-compliance to protocols for corrective action

Ôö¼├Ç         Responsible for maintenance of research source and  essential documents

Ôö¼├Ç         Ensure timely research submissions liaising with research staff

Ôö¼├Ç         Responsible for tracking of staff research required trainings based on the local, international and sponsor requirements

 

Desirable persons for the positions:

Highly motivated individuals that are passionate about making a difference in the lives of persons living with or affected by HIV. Excellent team players with strong interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated abilities to manage their time, juggle competing priorities and work to meet tight deadlines. Persons able to work independently with capacity to both lead a team or be a proactive team member. Persons with writing and editing skills who are efficient yet pay attention to detail and accuracy. Health professionals who have an interest in learning more about the research process and protection of human subjects and growing professionally.
