Stefan Swartling Peterson

Stefan Swartling Peterson trained as a public health physician in Sweden, did his MPH at Harvard and PhD from Uppsala University with field-work in the Central African Republic and Tanzania. Stefan has appointments as visiting Professor with Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH), and is Professor of Global Health at Uppsala University and Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. Suzanne N. Kiwanuka

Dr. Suzanne N. Kiwanuka is the Review Coordinator for Centre for Systematic Reviews on Human Resources for Health. Suzanne has prepared a qualitative systematic review of health services costs, quality and accessibility in Uganda for Health Policy Planning and Management Department. She is interested in community oral health/ epidemiology, primary health care and human resources for health. Mayora Chrispus

Chrispus Mayora is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Health Policy, Planning and Management (HPPM), School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University-Kampala. He graduated as an Economist (B.A. Econ) from Makerere University, Uganda in 2006. He graduated with an M.A. Economics (Health Econ &Environmental Econ) from Makerere University, Uganda in 2010, and later with a Mater of Health Economics (MHEC) from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2012. Elizabeth Ekirapa-Kiracho

Dr Elizabeth Ekirapa-Kiracho is a medical doctor who has specialised in the field of health economics. She is one of the staff members in the department of Health Policy Planning and Management, where she is responsible for teaching and evaluating both under graduate and postgraduate students, as well as coordinating some courses. She has vast experience in managing, conducting, and analysing health related research in a variety of fields including health systems, reproductive health, infectious diseases, and health financing and economic evaluation. Justine N. Bukenya

Dr. Justine N. Bukenya (MBChB, MPH) is Assistant Lecture in the Department of Community Health and Behavioural Sciences at Makerere University College of Health Sciences School of Public Health. She has Medical training from Makerere University Medical School and Public Health training from The University of Melbourne, Australia. Saul Kamukama

Mr. Saul Kamukama (Bsc. Food Science & Tech, MPH) is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Community Health and Behaviour Sciences at the School of Public Health Makerere University College of Health Sciences. He has a Masters Degree in Public Health and a Bachelors Degree in Food Science and Technology from Makerere University. David Lubogo

Dr. David Lubogo (MBChB, MPH) is Research Fellow in the Department of Community Health and Behavioural Sciences. He joined Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) at the College of Health sciences in August 2010, to support the Masters of Public Health Nutrition Programme. He is the field coordinator for the MPHN programme. Before joining MakSPH, he worked as a Medical Officer in Ngora Hospital, Kumi district and then Kiboga district hospital. Phyllis Awor

Dr. Phyllis Awor (MBChB, MSc Int. Health) is a Research Fellow in the Department of Community Health and Behavioural Sciences at Makerere University College of Health sciences School of Public Health. She is the Study Manager on the MINIMAX project. She has an MBChB from Makerere University and an MSc in International Health from University College London - UK; University of Copenhagen - Denmark; and University of Bergen - Norway. Noah Kiwanuka

Dr. Kiwanuka Noah (MBChB, MPH, PhD), currently a Senior Lecturer, is an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist with 17 years experience in the design, conduct and analysis of population-based cohort studies and clinical trials. He is the Director of the Makerere University Clinical Trials Unit (MakCTU) and conducts research in HIV prevention and vaccines. Harriet Babikako

Dr Harriet Babikako is a Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Makerere University College of Health sciences. School of Public Health. Doris Kwesiga

Ms. Doris Kwesiga who was appointed Assistant Lecturer. Ms.Kwesiga was one of the members of the pioneer MHSR Class and graduated in January 2011 with a Master of Health Services Research degree. She also holds a BachelorÔÇÖs degree in Social Work and Social Administration, attained from Makerere University. Ruth Mubeezi Neebye

Mrs. Ruth Mubeezi Neebye is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health. William Bazeyo is an Associate Professor of Occupational Medicine at Makerere University College of Health Sciences, School of Public Health and is currently the Dean of the School. Esther Buregyeya

Dr. Esther Buregyeya is currently a Lecturer in the Department Disease Control and Environmental Health-School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University-Kampala. She trained as a Medical Doctor (MBChB) from Makerere University, Uganda in 1998. Kenneth Mugwanya

Dr. Kenneth Mugwanya is Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health at Makerere University College of Health sciences, School of Public Health. Aloysius Mutebi is currently a Research Fellow/Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Health Policy Planning and Management, School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University-Kampala. He later did a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Planning Techniques with computer applications at the Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands in 1999. Ramullah Kasozi

Dr. Ramullah Kasozi is a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Community Health and Behavioral Sciences. She has an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, Canada (H.BSc.) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B.) from Makerere University.
